About MAH Ventures

MAH Ventures is a European venture studio and investment company based in Ilmenau, Germany. We build AI companies from scratch and invest in early-stage European startups in AI, SaaS, and regulated industries. We are at the beginning of building something significant and looking for people who want to be part of that from day one.

The Role

As Investment Analyst, you will be responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and supporting investments in early-stage European technology companies. You will work directly with the managing director on all investment decisions and have real ownership over the process — from first meeting to closing.

This is not a traditional analyst role where you create slides and models for others to present. You will lead calls with founders, develop investment theses, and be part of every investment committee discussion.

What You Will Do

• Source investment opportunities through events, networks, and outbound research
• Conduct first-round calls and assessments with founding teams
• Perform market research and competitive landscape analysis
• Build financial models and investment memos
• Manage due diligence processes
• Support portfolio companies with operational and strategic challenges
• Track and report on portfolio performance
• Represent MAH Ventures at industry events and conferences

What We Are Looking For

• 1–4 years of experience in venture capital, investment banking, management consulting, or a high-growth startup
• Strong financial modelling and analytical skills
• Deep interest in AI and enterprise software markets
• Ability to build relationships with founders and establish credibility quickly
• Excellent written communication — you can write a compelling investment memo
• Fluent in English and German
• Entrepreneurial mindset — you identify problems and solve them without being asked
